Hello.  This is my introduction into the blog world.  It may not be flashy or extremely interesting, but I will endeavor to be as worthy of attention as possible.

I am owner and designer of a small showroom/ workshop in the middle of Wellington city, New Zealand.
We call ourselves Design In Residence.

We design kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, laundries... Anything that involves storage and cabinets, I can design for you.

Alongside this vocation of mine, I choose to clutter my life with a myriad of finds. Chairs for sitting, cabinets for storage, vases for secreting into any possible space. A collection of things that bring me a bit of joy every time I see them.

This is a pass time that irks my nearest and dearest, and for this I apologise.  Perhaps this will be a blog about chairs, perhaps not.

Time will tell, and I suspect it may morph into something entirely different. For now, I will update this blog with images of a few of the finds in my life, and why they improve things for me.

As I said at the beginning of this, I am very VERY new to the process, so I hope to not make too many mistakes at the beginning, but will begin with a few amateur images of life in Wellington.
